Term 3
Term 3 will see us working individually or in small
groups to create a revision aid such as a POD CAST, Powerpoint Presentation,
Poster, Poem, RAP/Song, Mobile, Cartoon Strip, Movie etc
These will be uploaded to create a front page for each injury, condition or ailment, showing your parents and visitors to our website how to treat each of the Ailment/Conditions that we have learned about.
Your revision aid product must include:
1. A description or definition of the ailment or condition.
2. The possible causes of the ailment or condition.
3. The signs and symptoms of the ailment or condition.
4. The details of the treatment that should be administered.
5. Any after care that should be advised.
6. Each of the revision aids must have some kind of picture or video story as well as written or audio descriptions.
7. Your completed revision aid product must be submitted to the class drop box for SHARED PEER ASSESSMENT.
Once we have all completed the task we will have a chance to revise using each of the materials produced.
The final products will all be uploaded onto our website for you to view.
Throughout this term, we will be encouraged to complete our check off list for practical jobs such as bandaging and treatment for breaks, fractures or dislocations, CPR, treatment ofShock, assessing for danger and putting into the recovery position.
Assessment for term 3 will be based on your practical check off list and Peer Assessment/ Personal Critique of the uploaded articles/products you have created for the website.
