1. Ensure all pupils have logged onto the website and Blogged – If you are not already on the website: Type in the following address into your URL line at the top of your internet bowser; www.garnockgivesfirstaid.weebly.com
Now go to the Home link on the top line and scroll down until you see the Blog. There should be 18 comments posted. If anyone has still to do so they have until Ms V returns next Tuesday!!!!!
2. Pupils should access their own computers and first aid folders where they will continue to complete all of their fact files. Use the check off list in your jotter polypocket to see what you still have to work on. All pupils must complete 16 fact files by the end of the year. We have still to research Diabetes, Asthma, and Drowning. Pupils should finish off current fact files and begin to create the 3 new ones for the topics we have yet to cover. i.e. you will need to use our website and google to find out more facts about Diabetes, Asthma and Drowning.
3. Go to our Useful website Video's and Programmes Link. This requires a teacher to log on, otherwise content is blocked. Pupils should take notes in their jotters as they watch.

This will link you to an episode of 'Casualty' that deals with child seizure/possible epilepsy, the importance of filling in the accident report log accurately, the importance of following procedure/basic first aid, honesty, acute chest pains and cardiac arrest, cuts to the head and a fall down the stairs, pregnancy and labour, touches on domestic abuse, paralysis, meningitis.
